Remove cover of the instruments

Hei kaikki,

minä tarvitsen apua. Does somebody know how I can remove the cover of SAMARA (model 2000) from the instruments?

The lights in there are not working and I do not see how fast I am driving in the night . I checked fuses and the potentiometer and everything seems to be ok, maybe there is a plug removed or the bulbs are broken...

There are several bulbs,but I wonder if they all are broken at same time.Did you notice that wires are ok. on potentiometrer.If the potentimeter is broken you can try to diskonnect two wires on potentiometer,then bulbs lights at highest tenson (if they are not broken).

Instrument panel-removal :
-Disconnect the battery negative lead
-In the acent Samaras instrumen panel hood was secured by two clips at its upper corners and by two screws,one securing each clip at the hood´s upper corner,so that the hood could be withdrawn leaving the clips in place.The Clips can then be removed without risk of damage.Note the earth connection for the panel wiring.Former Samaras must be ensured that it was cleaned to bare metal.Good luck for your fix
